For 24 years, the annual National LGBTQ Task Force Gala has been the premier celebration of South Florida’s LGBTQ community and a vital fundraiser supporting the oldest national organization dedicated to achieving equality for LGBTQ people as well as many Miami-Dade LGBTQ service organizations. In 2020 the cause is the same, but the format is different as we move our event online.

The 2020 Gala is all about “The Power of US”. While we can’t gather in person, we can come together for a single night on October 3. There is no longer a fixed ticket price – any donation at all will get you in. And our table captains are no longer limited to just nine guests: we encourage you to invite all of your friends to join your virtual table!

This year’s Gala will support the Task Force’s Queering Democracy Initiative, including our “Queer the Vote” campaign. (The deadline for voter registration in Florida is October 5.)
